Le Domaine aux Quat’Saisons is the product of generations of tasteful living, but essentially it is a home; guests will immediately be aware of the pleasure, which the owner Sebastien, has in sharing it with others.

Built in 1882 the house is unique in retaining many of its original features from the beautiful tiled floors and panelled walls, to the family crest in the hall’s stained glass doors. The house, though typically French in the large proportions of its rooms, has been personalized to include many objets d’art, Persian rugs, and antiques.

The garden of 2 acres has been landscaped with Mediterranean plants, shrubs and trees and is a paradise for wildlife and full of colour. There is also a pond with fountain and several areas for relaxing and sitting. The vineyard is 100 years old and there are fig and olive trees at the bottom of the garden. There is a an outside terrace for eating and relaxing. At night the 200 year old cedars are flood lit offering a spectacular view of their canopy. Guests may then wish to sit in the parc by the pond, or on the terrace. Often a smell of herbs and resin fills the air and the tranquillity is only broken by the occasional sound of an owl.

Quiet and secluded the large pool provides an oasis of lushness and colour during summer months. Here guests can sit on sun-loungers around the pool side or under the cover of a veranda and watch the swallows skim the water and the butterflies feed on the hibiscus and bougainvillaea. It is an ideal place to relax after a day’s sight seeing.
